BASALT ROVING

Basalt roving is a raw material made from basalt fibers. Basalt is a volcanic rock formed by the rapid cooling of molten magma. Basalt fibers are obtained by melting and then drawing basalt rock into thin filaments, which are then twisted into roving – a continuous thread consisting of multiple basalt fibers.

Basalt roving is used in various fields such as construction, automotive manufacturing, shipbuilding, aerospace industry, and composite material production. It can be used for reinforcing concrete products, strengthening plastic products, and many other purposes.

Базальтовый ровинг производится из базальтовых волокон, которые получают из камня базальта. Процесс производства базальтового ровинга включает в себя следующие этапы:

  1. Подготовка сырья: камень базальта дробится и просеивается, чтобы получить базальтовые волокна нужного размера.
  2. Плавление: базальтовые волокна плавят в печи при температуре около 1450 °C.
  3. Процесс вытягивания: плавленая масса вытягивается через сопло, образуя нити. Нити охлаждаются и собираются в стопы.
  4. Процесс смачивания: стопы с нитями погружают в раствор связующего вещества (обычно это эпоксидная смола).
  5. Процесс намотки: после смачивания нити наматывают на барабаны, образуя ровинг.
  6. Сушка и обрезка: ровинг высушивают, а затем обрезают на нужную длину.
